DermOrganic Argan Oil vs. Moroccan Oil

Essentially, it is the same exact thing. Moroccan Oil is just another name for Argan Oil. This “liquid gold” as it is often called is a beauty secret of Moroccan women. Or it was.

The Argan trees grow in Southwest Morocco. On these trees is a small fruit and inside this fruit is the Argan seed. The seed is cold pressed to release the oil. And Voila! The fruits grow twice a year and the seeds are pressed by hand.

Now I'm sure you have seen in your local salons the Moroccan Oil brand. I've decided to compare the ingredients of the Moroccan Oil compared to the DermOrganic Argan Oil. I'll tell you right now, I like that the Argan oil is certified 100% organic. So.....DermoOrganic – 1, Moroccan Oil – 0.

Moroccan Oil Ingredients:
Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl, MethylPropional, Argania Spinoza Kernal Oil (Argan Oil), Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract, Fragrance Supplement, D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone

DermOrganic Argan Oil Ingredients:
Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Argan Oil, Grapeseed Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) Glycereth-2 Cocoate/Benzoic Acid (Natural Preservative), Fragrance.

As you can see, the basic ingredients are the same in both products. However, DermOrganic has far less ingredient with the Argan Oil being the third where the Moroccan Oil has it listed as the 6th. I know which one I'm choosing.
